Here are the details of two exciting summer opportunities, along with a winter ski trip, organized by the France District Committee. One of AGBU’s priorities is to increase interaction amongst young members and to expand worldwide offerings for young Armenians:
*12th – 19th February 2006 – Winter Ski Trip, Ancelle France Youth aged 10-16 will enjoy a one-week getaway from February 12-19 in the mountains to partake in skiing and other winter activities.
Euro 395 per person (excludes transportation).
*5th – 25th July 2006 – Summer Camp at Ancelle, France AGBU youngsters aged 7—14 will once again have the chance to come together in the Hautes Alpes for the camp’s annual session, this time from July 5-25. Potential participants are urged to register quickly, as sell out is anticipated very soon. Set against a breathtaking mountain backdrop, campers will enjoy a host of activities, including tennis, swimming, volleyball and crafts, in addition to the chance to build lifelong friendships with global peers and be immersed in the Armenian culture.
For current AGBU Members: Euro 630 one child, Euro 1190 two children. For non-AGBU or lapsed members: Euro 690 one child, Euro 1290 two children.
*7th – 28th August 2006 – Trip to Armenia & Artsakh Teenagers aged 15-18 will have the unique opportunity to take a 3-week trip originating in Paris with fellow AGBU youth. In addition to touring national monuments, participants will visit the sites of numerous AGBU programmes in the homeland and neighbouring Artsakh, such as the Children’s Centres and the Artsakh Repopulation Project. The students will also assist in the reconstruction effort and interact with the local children in Norashen.
Euro 1190 per person.
