The architect firm employed for this project is "Modern Limited", a reputable organisation with experience on high profile projects in the NKR run by the FAR (Fund for Armenian Relief), the NKR Government and the Karagozian Fund. The builder "Vladimir CJSC" was chosen through the invitation-to-tender and bidding process organised by the AGBU Armenian Representation. Both the architect firm and the AGBU On-site Project Manager in the NKR, Mr Sassoon Baghdassaryan, monitor jointly the progress and the quality of the building work with reference to the architect's building specifciation and the project plan. Mr Baghdassarian drives every week from Stepanakert to the village site in Hadrout in order to inspect and gather the necessary information to report to the AGBU Yerevan office where the facts are studied against the project plan and techncial specifications and the necessary decisions taken. On behalf of the NKR government, the NKR Ministry of Construction and the Architect of the Hadrout region are responsible for supervising the adherence of the construction to the building standards and regulatory requirements. The builder and architect firms are responsible for maintaining their appropriate operating licences. The NKR Government Department for Migration, Refugees and Resettlement representing the NKR government in the agreement signed with the AGBU; and the Government Department for Migration and Refugees of the Republic of Armenia cooperate in settling the refugee families currently living in Armenia, in the newly built homes in the NKR. |
