Saturday 16 September 2006. Join us for a day out at the beautiful and award winning seventeenth century Groombridge Place Gardens. Professionally catered BBQ
Join us for a day out at the beautiful and award winning seventeenth century gardens
- Seven themed gardens including The Secret Garden, White Roses Garden and the Oriental Garden
- War of the Roses battle re-enactment
- Medieval encampment, gunnery, displys and demonstration of archery
- Play giant snakes and ladders, giant jenga, hoopla, hopscotch and other games
- Cruise on a canal boat (75p per person) from the Kitchen Garden to the Enchanted Forest
- Conan Doyle Museum - writer of Sherlock Holmes stories and setting for one of his novels
- Dinosaur and Dragon Valley

Welcome and after lunch tea, coffee and pastry
Marquees and professionally catered BBQ of chicken breast, burgers, Cumberland sausage, salads, soft drinks and pastry. Chargrilled aubergines and courgettes with sauce for vegetarians.
Coach leaves from the Ramada Jarvis Hotel near Ealing Common at 9:30am prompt. (Nearest tube Ealing Common on the Piccadilly & District Lines)
Leave Groombridge Place at 5.30pm for the one hour journey back to the Ramada Jarvis.
Adults £35, Students (with ID) £25 & Children (Ages 3-12) £20
Price includes return trip to Kent by coach, BBQ, soft drinks, tea, coffee, pastry and access to all the gardens at Groombridge Place, War of the Roses battle re-enactment, Enchanted Forest attractions and the games.
