In June 2009 nearly a million Armenians in Europe will have the opportunity to vote in the European elections. Do we, however, know how our vote will affect the future of Armenia or that of the Diaspora? Where do the main British parties stand on key questions of concern to Armenians, such as the development of Armenian culture in the Diaspora, Turkey’s prospects of joining the EU, Armenia’s European integration or Nagorno Karababh?

As part of a Europe-wide campaign to encourage Armenians to vote in full knowledge of the position of the candidates running in the European elections, AGBU is organizing a special pre-election conference:
