Internships

AGBU New York and AGBU France run annual internship programmes at leading global organisations for students and graduates of Armenian descent.

The AGBU New York Summer Intern Programme (NYSIP) is an innovative 8-week internship programme designed for Armenian university students eager for experience in their respective fields. The Programme was established in 1987 and has provided over 600 young Armenian adults the opportunity to work in prestigious institutions in New York City as well as establish friendships with other young Armenians from all over the world.

The AGBU Paris Summer Intern Programme (PSIP), initiated in 2003 by the AGBU French District Committee, is dedicated to developing the next generation of Armenian leaders through professional internships and a cultural curriculum for 6-weeks.

The fees for both programmes are: NYSIP- participation fee US$2,000 and application fee US$50; PSIP- participation fee 900 € and application fee 50 €. Students are responsible for their food, transportation, entertainment and personal expenses. Financial assistance for both Programmess is based on need and not merit.

Parents can be reassured that students are housed in secure accomodation and under the supervision of our New York and Paris offices. Special activities are organized for the interns almost every evening and these activities include exposure not only to the great cultural wealth of both cities, but the traditional values and heritage of the Armenian Community.
